Last Day of 2012 Photo Shoot

Carver and I went out today so I could take a few pictures! I think I took 230. :)

I thought I would share my favorites and wish you a Happy New Year!!!

None of these were edited... with the exception of the black and white one. I had not had a bath and had not put on any make-up so believe me... I was doing you a favor by making it black and white! It is a little less scary!

All my photos were taken in Auto mode (shhhh!!) One day I will learn how to use my camera! It was a little too cold today to play around with it much plus... a sheriffs deputy ran us off from the barn location before I was done playing! On the train tracks... well.... after our barn experience with the cop and the fact that trains do run on those tracks... I just wanted to shoot a few and get out of there.

I hope you have a wonderful last night of 2012!!

Smitten With You with Avocado Arts

Happy Saturday!

Today the Pit Crew Too are sharing projects using the Avocado Arts December Kit called Smitten With You!! Check it out....

Such a fun set! Don't you just love the penguin and all the accessories to dress him up!????!

I kept my card super simple as usual. I just stamped my penguin, glasses and sentiment onto my card base. I stamped the scarf and gloves on scrap paper, cut them out and adhered them to the base.

Make sure to check out what these sweet ladies are sharing today.....

Warm Winter Wishes with The Pit Crew

Today the entire Pit Crew are sharing creations with you using the Avocado Arts December kit called Smitten With You with a sneak peek of the January kit called Perfect Blend.

On my card... the snowflake and sentiment are from the December kit. The cup and steam are from the January kit. You can't go wrong with either one... they are both so cute and fun!

Take a look at the December kit.....

Keeping it short and sweet today! I am typing this up late on Friday night. It has been a long and emotional day.... as I am sure it was for you too.

Our son, Carver, is in Kindergarten. My husband and I had both attended his Christmas party at school this morning. When we left... we heard the news of the Connecticut shootings. I think about all of those sweet little faces we saw and I just can't imagine how anyone could do such a thing to those little babies. I also can't imagine how those parents are feeling. I pray that I never have to know first hand what it feels like to lose a child.

We took Carver to a Toby Mac concert tonight (the husbands idea) and that was emotional as well. I cried some at the events of the day... and I cried some at the thought of how thankful I am for what God has done for me. It is a sad sad world.... I feel so sorry for people who don't know the joy that comes from a relationship with God. God is joy.. God is love... God is hope... God is light! Without Him... life must be so hopeless and dark!

Okay... back to the hop.... check out all of these ladies/links (listed below)... and make sure to leave a comment so you are entered to win one of these....

Warm Winter Wishes Tag with Avocado Arts

Happy Friday!!

Today the Pit Crew Too are sharing projects using the latest and greatest Avocado Arts stamp set called Smitten With You. Take a look....

Super cute, huh?

I decided to do something a little different and make a tag. I think it has been a while since I made a tag. The snow globe image is the perfect size to make a gift tag... not too small/a good size! I stamped green snow inside the globe because snow is green! :) I stamped the image and then cut the globe out. I inked the edges with distress ink and added some twine. Now I just need to buy Christmas gifts so I can put it on one! :)

Make sure to check out what these wonderful ladies have to share today....
