Stuff

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am posting the other half cards of the digital background cards that I posted a little while ago. These are not my favs!

And... I am posting a card that I made using the Unity March kit of the month! I made it to send to a special young lady! She received it a long time ago but I haven't posted it yet because it looks a little better in person (I hope). It is bright bright bright! And... I wasn't too happy with the picture of it that I got before I mailed it!

Anyway... here they are!!

Hope you guys are having a great day! Things are good here! I have worked a little bit on blog hopping the past couple of days but am still not 'caught up'! I don't know what is wrong with me... I haven't been in the blogging or blog hopping mood... or even the card making mood lately! Guess that means I am in need of a little break! I am really in the mood to dig in and finally get my craft room cleaned up and out. I am in the getting rid of stuff mood.... not just in the craft room... everywhere!!

I have plenty of new stuff to show but it is all Christmas stuff! I have worked a little bit on the current PC call. However... I have managed to not let it consume me and most nights.... I don't make anything for it at all... or anything at all for that matter! So... that is progress for me! I think I am actually done with what I will send in to PC. I am kind of out of ideas/inspiration so unless some strikes between now and the deadline... I am cool! :) Feels good! I had fun with what I made... a lot of fun. At this point... if I try to make more... it seems like it will be more like work so... we will see how that goes! I am really trying here people! :)

I did real well on the CARDS call and another call... I sent in previously made submissions for both.... woo hoo. I did have a couple of new Christmas ones that I sent in because they looked like they would fit better with CARDS! Anyway... enough chatting! :) I just wanted to let you know since I posted my late night rambles that I am doing really well with the submission thing! I find my mind focused on the things that it should be focused on! Thank you God!!

Peace and Love!

Celebrate

Hope you guys had a wonderful Monday! I have been wanting to post all day but my brain has been a little fried. Couldn't get good sleep last night... my brain wouldn't shut off long enough! I had a little nap with Carver while getting him to sleep so maybe I can function long enough to post! :)

Anywho... I wanted to let you guys know that I really appreciate the prayers that you lifted up for me about my appointment this morning! I was sick to my stomach a little bit as I drove to the doctors office.

My doctor went over my pathology report, from my surgery, with me and boy... do I feel like a weight has been lifted off. One that I wasn't even really aware was there!

He told me things that I wish I had heard 5 months ago after my surgery. Basically... what they found... they found as early as possible. I am thinking he even said (after the surgery they realized) what I had was precancerous cells... so little and early that it could be considered like a skin cancer because it had not reached any of the blood vessels. He apologized for the fact that I have 'worried' over everything for these past few months. He said it may have been that the surgeon didn't want to give me any kind of idea that I didn't have to have a hysterectomy after all. Wow!! What a relief that was to hear! Of course.... I would have had it anyway just to be safe and my doc said if it were his wife or daughter... he would have recommended a hysterectomy right away anyway! So... all of that along with his reassurance over and over that I was going to be okay... made me feel so much relief! Thank you God!!

I am sure I will still be a little anxious until I hear the results of my test. It may be as long as a week since an actual pathologist has to look at my sample/whatever! But... after our discussion today... I feel so much better about what those results might be! I feel like I can live this week and not be worried about getting a phone call. Even if I do get a phone call (a bad one)... I feel like it is something that can be fixed! So... I am just going with that and having faith!

I have had faith the entire time because I know ... I know my God loves me! He has shown me that over and over and over and I so don't deserve it!

However, when I look at my precious little boy... I have to admit that I have let fear creep in from time to time (only for a moment)! I love him so much and he needs his mommy! :)

Anyway... I just wanted to share what I found out today because I know many of you offered up prayers for me and I really can't tell you how much that means to me! Love you all!!

Okay... so onto the card... :)

This is a card that I made a few weeks ago but haven't posted yet. I made a similar card not too long ago with the same set and basic colors... this one is just a little more clean and simple!

I hope to catch up with you all soon! I have been a little distracted lately and haven't kept up with you all the past couple of days!

Peace and Love!

Happy Easter

It is about 10:30pm on Saturday night! I wasn't planning to post again this weekend but wanted to post this tag that I made last night! I made it to put on Carver's Easter basket from the Easter bunny!

Carver is so sweet! He talks about God and Jesus all the time! I pray that he always does!

Last night we talked about why we celebrate Easter! When I talk about God and/or Jesus... he will just sit and soak it all in! I love that!

Carver said today out of the blue that I was the Easter bunny! I didn't argue with him about it... I just asked him why he thought that! It is hard to know what to do about holidays... I don't want to lie to him about things like Santa and the Easter bunny! I want him to know, for sure, why we celebrate these holidays! But... I also don't want to take away from him those fond childhood memories that I have of believing in Santa, etc! What do you do or did you do with your kids?

I think that believing in Santa, etc... didn't mess me up! Not that I know of anyway! :) It is just hard to know what to do!

Anyway... didn't mean to get into all of that! That is what happens when I am tired and do a blog post... rambling! :)

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

Peace and Love!

Picking Up The Pieces Again!!

Here is the little stinker of a card that I had a hard time photographing!

It is also for the current Moxie Fab challenge!

It is a 3x3 card and I just think it is cute! Michael saw it and even said it was cute... without me asking him about it!

I used an older Stampin Up stamp set and paper pieced all the parts of the flower. Nothing fancy... simple and cute!

Hope you guys have had a wonderful Good Friday!

My SIL met us at their dental office and cleaned our teeth today. This was Carvers first time and he only got as far as having his teeth looked at... he never made it to the actual cleaning part! Maybe next time... :)

Here are a few pics that I took! I got a new camera last night (an early Bday gift) that I can carry around with me in my purse. I thought I would start putting it to good use. I am so excited about this camera... I will always be ready to take a picture! Woo hoo! I have wanted one for a long time and had finally just got tired of waiting! Now I am the owner of a Canon PowerShot S90!

Getting started

I just think this is a good picture... I like the lighting! ha

Peace and Love!

Oh... I should be back with another post before Monday but if not... I have my first 'invasion' appt. on Monday (post cancer surgery) so I would appreciate any prayers that you guys would lift up for me. I am most nervous about waiting for 'the call' to tell me if the test came back normal or abnormal. I still remember those couple of early morning calls like they happened yesterday and it turns my stomach to even think about it! :) God is in control so I am really good but... I will take any prayers that I can get too! :)

And.... Happy Easter if I don't post again! :)

Picking Up the Pieces - Moxie Fab

Hope you guys are having a wonderful Thursday!

I have been making a few tags with my new Labels 4 nesties! I wasn't a huge fan of them at first but they have grown on me and now I LOVE them!!

Anyway... wanted to play with the latest Moxie Fab challenge so I made a tag and paper pieced this Hero Arts butterfly! I used 4 different shades of purple on my butterfly and then covered her with Star Dust stickles! I used another shade of purple paper on the bottom label!

I made a 3x3 card for the challenge too but have not had a lot of luck getting a good photograph of it yet so I will have to post it later on! Since the sun is out longer... we are usually out and about somewhere so I miss the 'perfect' window to take an outside pic. Most of my other pics have edited okay but that one little card is giving me fits! :)

Peace and Love!
