I hope you have had a great weekend! We have been super busy working around our house the last couple of weeks so that has been nice but I have been a little quiet on my blog lately.

However... today ... I get to share with you a sneak peek of a new release from Sweet Stamp Shop. Today's featured set is called Across The Miles and it is CA-UTE! I also used some of the Sweet Sampler Twine from Timeless Twine!! :)

We are heading to Disney again this summer with my parents. I made a tag to go on a 'busy bag' that I am putting together for Carver to keep him occupied on the ride! :)

Sweet Stamp Shop and May Arts Ribbon

 

Happy Wednesday!

Today I am sharing a card using Sweet Stamp Shop and May Arts! You can check out the SSS blog for projects using both companies all week. If you follow along and comment on each day... there are a few prizes involved. Make sure to check out the SSS blog for the details.

I looooove me some SSS stamps and I loooooooe May Arts Ribbon! When I think of quality ribbon... I think of May Arts. I have a pretty big collection of May Arts ribbon and twine! May Arts is my favorite hands down!! You can check out the May Arts blog here and the store here.

On my project today, I used Sweet Spring and Against the Grain stamp sets. I used two different orange ribbons by May Arts. I just layered the smaller ribbon on top of the wider ribbon!

I hope you are having a great day today! I didn't get in the bed until 4am this morning and I am typing up this post 'live' so... if I seem a little loopy... forgive me! :) We have some insulation guys coming to spray more insulation in our attic which means we had to get it cleaned out. I now need a nap and a massage! :) But my attic looks great! :)

Wow... with Penny Black

This card is over on the Penny Black blog today! Jenyfur asked us to make a card using our favorite new Penny Black set. It was a hard decision but I ended up choosing the new set called Wow... 40-112. When I got my new stamps... this is the one I wanted to play with first. Here is the set....

Hugs for Janelle Hayes

I was asked by the sweet Laurie if I wanted to participate in a blog hop for Janelle Hayes. My answer was an immediate "YES"! I love Janelle and am honored to be a part of a blog hop in her honor!

If you don't know Janelle... she was diagnosed at the end of July with a Stage 4 brain tumor that is inoperable. The past month or so has been the most difficult time for Janelle as far as her physical health has been concerned. Up until a few weeks ago... Janelle was able to keep up with her blog and continue her passion for crafting. Her husband, Ken, has been updating her blog lately because Janelle has not been able or not felt like doing so. I am praying that Janelle will feel well enough to get back at it soon!

Janelle and Ken are both wonderful people and I am so blessed that myself and my family were able to enjoy dinner with them a couple of years ago as they were passing through Tennessee. Janelle has always been so encouraging and she is someone that I have a great amount of respect for.

I used Sports Fever to create this clean and simple card. I love this set... I was a sports girl my entire childhood up until my first year of college. I miss playing sports! I need to find ways to make it happen! Anyway.... here is a look at the set...
