It seems like I have been waiting forever for this day... my first post with Avocado Arts!! Over the last few months I have gotten to know a lot more about the owners of this company and the rest of the Pit Crew. As soon as the new girls were introduced... we were instantly welcomed with open arms into a wonderful, supportive and crazy (in a good way) family! :) I am beyond thrilled to be designing for such a wonderful company.

Today the newbies are showing off the January Kit called Sweet Treat Sweetie!

My card for today is totally CAS... I know... shocker, right? :) So super easy... make your base, stamp, round some corners and you are done!! :)

Today I thought I would share a card and also let you know/remind you about some cool things going on 'out there'.

1. Winter Sims has started accepting cards for her Valentines Card Drive. The cards she receives will be going to a few wonderful Children's Hospitals... one of those right here in Nashville. Please consider making cards for this wonderful cause. Not only will you bring a little joy to a sick child but... there are also prizes to be had for sending in cards.

2. Penny Black has been sharing cards based on the spot coloring technique this week... make sure to check those out at the PB blog.

3. Avocado Arts is sharing projects from a stamp club member today on the AA Blog... great projects to be seen!

4. Paper Smooches SPARKS has a challenge going on that ends on Jan 11th! Make sure to check it out on the SPARKS blog. We would love to see you play along!

5. Thank you all for the sweet comments about my new blog look... I am so excited... I still can't quit looking at it. :) You guys are great and always so encouraging and sweet... Thank you for that!!

My Front Porch Clean Sweep

Okay... so I don't have a lot of time to post at the moment but I just couldn't wait any longer to 'show off' my new blog look! I LOVE IT!! I have a lot of housekeeping things I want to touch on and I have several cards to post... just not time to do all of that linking and such. Maybe later tonight. Anywho... again... Happy 2012!!

I hope you had a wonderful New Years! We had a great time 'entertaining' some friends.... if you call eating and then everyone sitting on the couch for hours ... entertainment! :) We enjoyed it though! Hopefully they did too!

I have been so busy the last few weeks that I haven't had time to think about any kind of special post(s) for the New Year so I am just jumping right into the same ole same ole! I do have a blog redo on the horizon though so I am excited about that! :)

Today starts a week of spot coloring inspiration on the Penny Black blog. I used Bride and Groom on my card today! I love this stamp... perfect for spot coloring!
