Merry and Bright with Avocado Arts

Happy Wednesday!

The Pit Crew Too are live today and are sharing with you... and only YOU... a project made with a little stamp set called Very Merry Season from Avocado Arts. This set is a cute and fun one! Let's take a look... shall we?

There are also digital cut files to match.... sweet!!

I have been a little addicted lately to stamping onto patterned paper. I think it started a few months ago when I decided that I need to use up my stash o' paper. I make so few cards now a days ... compared to what I was making... it is still going to take me a very very long time to use it up. I must come up with other ideas!

Anyway... enough rambling! So... I stamped directly onto the patterned paper, colored the bulbs with copics and applied glossy accents. I cut a little 1/2 in. strip of kraft to stamp my sentiment on and adhered it to the card. Oh... and I inked all of the edges with distress ink. I can't help myself during the fall and winter... I feel every card must have it's edges inked... I am not sure why!

In case you noticed... the merry and bright sentiment is not in this stamp set... I got it from this one... it is the Nov 2011 stamp set called Bring On The Holiday Cheer. You can still snag that set as well if you visit the AA shop. Here is a look at it...

Alright... that is it from me today... check out what these ladies have to share...

Your background is unexpected but works so well! Beautiful white tree with its colourful lights. :)

I LOVE your card!! It's a different take, on the more traditional cards you see...I think that's why it attracts me so much!?! :)
