Happy Thursday!

I am trying to get in a quick post today. Carver is eating a snack (applesauce) and then we are heading outside to play. I am trying a no nap day today. That boy has been fighting sleep until almost midnight this week (or longer) so we will see how it goes. I hope I can make it! :)

Baby Favor Boxes

Happy Monday!

Hope you have had a great weekend! Mine has been busy and I haven't slept much! I have been working hard cleaning up our house. It has been hard for me to get everything cleaned at one time since Carver is not in school anymore. However.... I have just gotten to the point of it has to be done and it has to be done right. So... thanks to the help of Michael and my in-laws... I have gotten to spend a good bit of time cleaning the past few days.

So.... since I have been in cleaning mode... I have not crafted for a few days.

Today I am sharing with you some baby favor boxes that I made for the last PC call. I really love these boxes but I have no idea what I will do with them. Oh well... lesson learned!

My First Scrapbook Page

Well... it isn't my very first but my first one since starting this blog! And it is the first one of Carver or since Carver has been born for that matter! So... you get what I mean! :)

I think my scrapbooking skills are going to look like my card making skills... CAS! :) 

Carver is 12 months old in the picture. Carver used to lie down on the floor in the hallway and look through into the cat room (which is now the cat room/craft room) to see what was going on. I loved to sit on the other side of the door and see that sweet face peeking through!

We had to keep the door shut at all times to keep him out of the cat box and cat food. Plus... that was the only escape that our cats had to get away from a little boy chasing them around!

Well... that door has been open for a long time now. Carver is almost 4 now! :( I can't believe how big he is sometimes!

I decided this morning that the door would have to start staying closed again... especially when I go to bed at night. If you want to know why... scroll down and see my next post! :)

Ironic

I had already planned to post my first Carver scrapbook page (posted above) today. Well... this morning... this is what I woke up to.

 

Michael and I were up a few times during the night. The sheriffs dept. called because a door was open at the church... anyway.... he had to go up there at 3:30am. So... we were still pretty tired when Carver came in our room this morning. We stayed in the bed because Carver seemed to be having fun playing in his room by himself ... or so I thought. The alarm was on. The locks at the top of the doors were locked so he couldn't escape. Our house is pretty much Carver proofed... or so I thought (again).

Carver, instead, decided to play in the same room that I just did the scrapbook page about. It is the cat room/my craft room. Apparently... he learned how to open up the cabinet that houses my box of glitter/stickles.

He dumped the cat food into the litter box and decided to give Tucker some glitter to eat!

 

He thought Tucker would like sleeping in a glitter and stickle filled bed.

My Martha Stewart glitters are all gone! When I buy some new ones... I am taking the money out of his savings account! :)

I opened this drawer in my desk to find this bottle of stickles. This is the exact bottle of stickles that use to live in this drawer until my last craft room clean up. I decided to put them back in the box with all the rest of them.

Carver always loved to open this drawer and get this bottle of stickles out. I guess he missed it being in there and thought he would put it back!

Too smart... that is his problem! :)

He is officially banned from this room again. He will have to continue to look through the cat door to see what goes on in here.

I guess I know what I can do for my 2nd scrapbook page! :)

Wedding Favor Boxes

Moxie Fab World Jolly Holiday Greetings Challenge

Happy Wednesday!

Keeping it short and sweet again today! It is officially Wednesday but I have not gone to sleep on Tuesday night yet! It has been one very LONG day!

I actually have a few new products that I wanted to play with! Perfect products to use to participate in the Moxie Fab World Jolly Holiday Greetings Challenge.

I made two cards! This first card is using a new Stampin' Up product... Letterpress plates. Woo Hoo! You can use them in your Big Shot.

It is one that I can use all year long and I really love that now that I am watching what I spend. It was only 15 bucks and you can use it for projects all year. Can't beat that! I love wreaths! I never have one hanging anywhere but I love wreaths! :)

Two Cute Boys

I just received an email from my friend, Summer, from The V Files. In that email was this picture....


Our son's love each other and apparently have quite the reputation at church when they are together! :) I love that our boys love each other because I love Summer!

It has been a long time since I have posted a picture of Carver so I thought this one would be perfect to post.

Summer's son, Daniel, is the cute one wearing the hat. The other cute one is Carver! :)

Embellish Magazine Paper Piecing Color Challenge

Happy Monday!

I took some time over the weekend to make a card for the current Embellish challenge! It felt good! I have to remember to do that more often!

I have cleaned out my email inboxes and I hope to start today on getting caught up on my google reader. I am needing some inspiration and I always find it when I take time to visit all of you!

Hope your weekend was fab! We had a good weekend! It went by entirely too fast but they usually do!

I wanted to share a quick story real quick just in case my idea of a scrapbook page never comes to fruition!

On Sunday morning, Michael was in the shower, I was still trying to sneak in a minute more of sleep and Carver was in our bed watching cartoons. I was in that state of not asleep but not awake. I am not sure what cartoon Carver was watching but apparently they were talking about best friends. Carver reached over and grabbed my arm with his little sweet hands and said (to the tv) "my mommy is my best friend"! How sweet is that? He melts my heart everyday! I love him!

Speaking of things that I love! I LOVE my new computer! So much so that I am hoping I will enjoy being on it a little more than I have lately! The screen is big... I love how the keys feel when I type on them.... it is fast.. ! This is my first Mac but I think that I have used Michaels enough ( to check my email on trips, etc) that I am more comfortable with it than I thought I would be!

I am trying to schedule a couple of posts because looks like I am going to be switching computers... yet again.

That is what happens when you try to make it on some machines that were classified as throw away machines!

Going to be trying out a Mac to see if I can get comfortable with it! Then looks like we will be making a purchase... boo!! More Of The Same

Hello... hope you all had a great Tuesday! It is almost Wednesday here. I had planned to post some more of my 'waiting to be posted' cards while Carver took his nap but.... I took a nap as well! So... I am getting in a late post!

I took C man to the doc again today. I took him on Friday (don't know if I posted about that or not) because he said his ear hurt. The initial assessment was swimmers ear. Well... he has had fever since Sunday so I took him back today. Today it looks as if he has an ear infection. His first since having tubes put in over a year ago!

Well... here are the cards and a bag. I have really been enjoying making tags and bags lately. I plan to make something for the Moxie Fab challenge in the next couple of days. The challenge is to make a bag/tag, etc.. !! So... I am all about that and I am looking forward to having something newer to post. Something made just to post on my blog! Woo hoo! :)

Well... it has been a while since I have posted. I have been meaning to post but life has been busy. I haven't even gotten to craft a lot this week. I go through phases where I catch up on some sleep and that seems to be what I have been doing the past few days. With the exception of last night!

Anyway.... like I said... life has been busy. Some good... some bad but I will spare you all the details!
