We got several inches of snow on Friday/Sat. morning!
When we went out to play, on Saturday, there were a couple of families sledding, in front of our house, down the hill. By Saturday morning, the snow was covered with a pretty thick layer of ice.
We don't own an actual sled so we decided to improvise! Michael got out a rubbermaid container top! Here is Carver trying to push his daddy down our driveway! As you can imagine... this didn't work.

That's a great picture of your two guys!!!
I do declare that you all have more snow than we do in Wisconsin! (hmm, well maybe not, ours has just been here for forever and we haven't gotten any new...) but isn't is so pretty! We have tons of sleds and hardly use them-perhaps snow doesn't fascinate us as much up north. Looks like a lot of fun and a lot of fun family time.
Oh, for crying OUT loud! Is that just the cutest thing, ever!?!?! Your boys are SO photogenic and YOU are such a fantastic photographer! I love it!
{Scrap, PLEASE! hee hee}
Just sayin'...
Oh, how fun! I enjoyed our (little bit) of snow from the window, but it's so fun to experience snow with a preschooler. Especially for us down here in the south where it seldom snows! I was listening to the news last night and they were interviewing a little boy who was saying something like, "Santa brought us this sled for Christmas and it works like a charm!" So cute. They've already cancelled our schools for tomorrow, so maybe Tuesday I'll get to hear about all kinds of snow adventures. Great pictures, especially that last one of Michael and Carver. (In the first one... have they torn down the house that burned? Is he rebuilding?)
What gorgeous pics Kel! It's looks mucho freezing in your neck of the woods.
How cute! Love the rubbermaid sled! I hope it will snow again when we come, just a few more weeks! I can't wait! :)
So cute! Love your improvised sled!
Too cute!!! It sure looks like you guys had lots of fun and that's what counts :)
You guys rock with your creative thinking. Thanks for sharing the piccies. I thought of you (and Courtney) when hearing the weather reports of the pending snow storm. Looks like you made the best of it :)
