Ironic

I had already planned to post my first Carver scrapbook page (posted above) today. Well... this morning... this is what I woke up to.

Michael and I were up a few times during the night. The sheriffs dept. called because a door was open at the church... anyway.... he had to go up there at 3:30am. So... we were still pretty tired when Carver came in our room this morning. We stayed in the bed because Carver seemed to be having fun playing in his room by himself ... or so I thought. The alarm was on. The locks at the top of the doors were locked so he couldn't escape. Our house is pretty much Carver proofed... or so I thought (again).

Carver, instead, decided to play in the same room that I just did the scrapbook page about. It is the cat room/my craft room. Apparently... he learned how to open up the cabinet that houses my box of glitter/stickles.

He dumped the cat food into the litter box and decided to give Tucker some glitter to eat!

He thought Tucker would like sleeping in a glitter and stickle filled bed.

My Martha Stewart glitters are all gone! When I buy some new ones... I am taking the money out of his savings account! :)

I opened this drawer in my desk to find this bottle of stickles. This is the exact bottle of stickles that use to live in this drawer until my last craft room clean up. I decided to put them back in the box with all the rest of them.

Carver always loved to open this drawer and get this bottle of stickles out. I guess he missed it being in there and thought he would put it back!

Too smart... that is his problem! :)

He is officially banned from this room again. He will have to continue to look through the cat door to see what goes on in here.

I guess I know what I can do for my 2nd scrapbook page! :)

Peace and Love!

Oh man! I'm laughing...too funny! I love how he decorated everything with glitter...but it's not cool that you lost that glitter. I'm going to be chuckling about this all day!

Haha, Carver is very creative! I wonder what happened to your cat - if she slept in her bed, she must be a sparkling appearance now. If you put a flashlight onto her I am sure she looks like a discoball :)

Oh, I know it is not nice, but I am laughing about this one! Daniel did something similar recently (fortunately with baby powder and diaper rash cream, not with nice glitter).

Ohhhh myyyy goshhh!!! Kelley, I laughed so hard! I cried a little for your loss of glitter, lol, but mainly it was tears streaming down my face from a good belly laugh. Thanks so much for posting this, it made my day. I am truly sorry about you glitters though....seriously =) I'd be pretty upset about losing my collection, but this story (one for the scrapbooks!) would be totally worth it!

Cringe. That sums it up for me. Oh, and boy. He is ALL boy. You are a good mama and perhaps you've already learned to laugh at this documentary.

Oh my gosh, too funny! My dd#2 did things like that, whenever she was quiet for too long we knew that we were in for a mess.

Oh, Kelley! I FEEL for you, but have to admit to laughing at the same time. Hopefully, you can giggle a little tiny bit too. You HAVE to scrap this and use it for ammo when he gets older. LOL

Glitter is just stuff, the experience is priceless!

Oh girl I feel so bad for you! I can't imagine the cleaning process involved for glitter! Yowza! Well at least you will have a sparkled cat for a while that will make you laugh!

Oh no! I feel your pain. We had just moved into our new, custom built house. A house that we designed inside and out, my husband drew the plans and we chose every little detail that went into it. My 3yo daughter decides to take a Real Red and Brocade Blue SU! ink cube and smear it on the walls. She got the walls in her bedroom, the hallway outside the kitchen and the kitchen. She also smeared them all over herself--she looked like a big bruise. I thought I was going to faint from anger. I got quite a bit of it off with a magic eraser but the spots that had been on the walls the longest didn't come off. The ink didn't want to come off of her either and she wore it for a couple of days. She's 6 now and is actually very well behaved with my stamping supplies and asks before she uses anything. I can look back and laugh now.

Oh my, it's a wonder that little boys survive their childhood. :)

oh goodness...such creative-ness! You have a little Arteest on your hands. My grandson recently did that in his Mom's scrapbook room.but with Staz On refills---black and pretty greet stickles. He is an arteest too!

Oh, my. Are you still finding glitter everywhere? When I was a Creative Memories consultant the daughter of one of my customers found all her mom's stickers -- her complete, expansive collection -- and applied them all over her little body and the walls and floor of a closet. The mom cried.
Once Ian dumped an entire box of Rice Krispies on the kitchen floor. After my initial shock, I grabbed the camera to take a picture. And, it is much funnier after time passes than it is initially! So -- good for you for documenting this event! :)
