I didn't have any 4th of July cards to post today. I didn't make any to send out this year! But I did have this card that I made a month or so ago with the 4th of July in mind!

I hope you are enjoying your day today! We went to my aunt and uncles house for lunch and we are getting ready to go watch the big fireworks at Providence. Providence is a big shopping center right up the road from us. Every year they usually have live music and inflatables for the kids. The fireworks are shot right behind Dicks Sporting Goods which is right beside Target. We get there in time to get a decent parking spot and then we go shop in Target for snacks, etc! I look forward to it every year! I think July 4th is my favorite holiday.... right after Halloween! There is just something about Halloween! Maybe it is the fall air... maybe it is the pumpkins and all the orange!? I just love it!

Anyway.... I guess I am talkative today! I just woke up from a nap. :) We have had several late nights in a row and I am trying to get off caffeine. This is my first day!! I had to take a pain pill pretty early in the day because I was already getting a bad headache! I drink caffeine from the time I wake up until the time I finally go to sleep! Not good!! Wish me luck! :)

Well... Happy 4th of July my friends! :)

Hang in there - it takes about two weeks, but you'll get off the caffeine! And for heaven's sake, don't take in any after you've gotten off - I was up until about midnight last night because I ate some chocolate at 9 p.m.!!

Kelley, from experience I can say that tapering off caffeine is less painful than cold turkey, especially if you normally take in quite a bit. Also, some painkillers contain caffeine (http://www.livestrong.com/article/358662-why-is-caffeine-present-in-most-pain-killers/). It's worth it -- I don't find myself with a tired body and a jangling mind that keeps me from getting to sleep. :)
