Here they are...

...the cards that I have been too embarrassed to share! Not that any of them are horrible cards... they are just not my favorite cards that I have made! :) Nothing spectacular about any of them but here they are! I think they are all pub rejects! I am tired of seeing them in my little bucket beside my desk. I can't seem to put them in my card drawer knowing that they haven't been on the blog! :) I know... I have issues.

Plus... I haven't posted in a few days and I wanted something to post!

You know... I do like the white Mom one and the Kraft mom one (looks better in person)... the others... not so much! Anyway...

I haven't been crafting as much since my surgery! I have been able to make a few things but they have been mostly things for my friends and a few for submissions. I have shared all of the 'new stuff' that I can right now. I will be sharing some cards that I made with Courtney's new stamp set on the 5th. I don't really like to share what I submit to the pub calls before the deadline has past. I don't know why because I know it is okay as long as I take it off my blog but... I guess that is just another issue of mine! :)

Anyway... I hope you are all doing well! I go in for my post op appointment in the morning! I didn't think I would be nervous but the closer it gets... I am getting a little nervous!

I have a funny story to share!

On Friday night, we went to eat with some friends from church. These friends ( I will not say names so they won't be embarrassed.. ha) have a daughter, lets call her E, who is not quite a year younger than Carver. Well... Carver wanted them to come over so he and E could play... fine with us... mom and E rode home with me and Carver while dad and Michael went to Best Buy. About 30 mins. or so after we were home, we heard a loud thud coming from Carvers room. We walked in the room to find little Miss E standing on the bed with only a shirt on (almost off... just around her neck)... and Mr. Carver on the floor (he had fallen off the bed... hence the thud) completely naked! I WAS HORRIFIED!!

A little later... I found them in the closet... Mr. Carver only had his shirt on... Miss E was completely clothed this time. SO.... for the rest of the night... they were only allowed to play in the living room!

Carver will be 3 on the 14th of this month... I didn't know that I was going to have to deal with this kind of stuff so early! I am still in shock at what I saw!! :)

Well... that is it for me! I am going to try and make a couple of cards while Carver is still fighting sleep and then I am off to bed! Hope you guys have a great week!!

Don't forget about the Cards for St. Jude and the current Everything But the Kitchen Sink Challenge!!

Peace and Love

Too many cards to post supplies... just email if you have any questions... I am sure you won't !! :)

Oh, I love your cards! Especially the Mom card with the flowers!! And the beans card! Somehow I don`t share my submissions either! And I don`t even share them after they`ve been rejected!! Strange, but I think they are not good enough! The cute Carver/E story cracked me up! I really hoped that we have to deal with those things when they are, well about 30 something ;). Thinking of you, hope your appointment will be fine!

Hugs,
Vanessa

I read that you just had surgery. Im sorry I've been out of the blog world for sometime now. I do hope that everything is ok and that it wasnt anything major. I will go through your past posts to see if you wrote anything about it.

Talk to you soon! TC!

Oh Kelley! Great cards and great story!! I love the jellybean and Kraft Mom one. And that story is just too hilarious!! So what was their reasoning for being little nudists? I'm sure it was completely innocent :0)

Maybe you and I click so will because we have some of the same "issues". I have this "need" to show all my crafty stuff, even if I think what I made is not that good or if it has glaring (to me) mistakes or if I just plain old don't like it. And, half the time, I've given it to someone and I can't really say in my blog post "I think this project is pretty ugly and look at how crooked I stamped that sentiment and etc." because I don't want the recipient to think/know that I wasn't giving them my best work. Oh the dilemmas! So, all that said, my personal favorite of the cards you show here is the Easter blessings with the bunny. Quite cute -- and love the pink polka dots, too.
And, while I'm here, Winter's right about having to watch the kids and their curiosity. But I have a funny story, too. When my daughter was around 2 (and fully potty trained) I found her in the bathroom with the neighbor boy (around 4 yrs old) with her pants around her ankles, watching him stand to pee in the toilet. I think she was trying to figure out how in the world he could do that! Needless to say, we had to have a little discussion...
Great cards that you made with Courtney's set, too (next post -- just to lazy and time-crunched to click over and comment there...).
Hope your dr. appointment went well! Let us know!!

Kelley, I love your cards! You make me wish (almost) that I could start another craft "species" without Bill wanting to throw me out of the house!! So I just enjoy it vicariously through your blog......... And I love the story about Carver! Do I have this to look forward to if Nancy and Chris get a little boy? ha ha!!!
