Practicing Creativity Designs - Key To My Heart Day 2

Here are my other two cards that I made using Courtney's new stamp set! One is a card and the other is a card/tag. I started to make it a card but soon realized the heart wouldn't stand up for a picture! I got my florist frog a few days later but hey... I can always use a bag tag/card! :)

I really like this stamp set... and I am not just saying that because Courtney is an IRL friend! Okay... so I probably would say that even if I didn't mean it but... I do really like the stamp set! I am excited to have a key set in my collection! It is different from any other set that I own. I hope you guys have bought one or at least considered adding it to your wish list for purchase later on!

Courtney - thank you again for letting me be a part of your first stamp set release! I am looking forward to using this set more! You did a great job! Congratulations!!

Well... switching topics... if you haven't seen my post from last night... there are no cards... just a lot of rambling but make sure to check it out if you have an extra 20 mins or so to read it! :) ha...

I am still in the rambling mode so I wanted to show you something else that I am excited about. This is a picture of what I got in the mail yesterday! This is a table from the Land of Nod. I got this table and the red and blue chair in the picture to put in our bonus room. I am sooooo excited!

We haven't made a ton of progress yet in the bonus room but the ceiling is at least painted and the holes in the wall have one coat of drywall mud. The wall paint is purchased and waiting to be rolled on. The shelves have been drawn out, the table and chairs purchased and the general layout of the rest of the room has been decided. I am excited to see it all come together! It will take a while because Michael is going to build the shelves for me and I have forbidden him (ha) to cut the wood in the garage and it is way too cold for him to do it in the driveway right now. The shelves may have to wait until spring to be built so he doesn't get sick! or... temped to cut it in the garage! I don't like cleaning up sawdust ... not at all!!

Anyway.... I am excited for Carver to have his own little craft table. I feel like we will actually do more crafts and learning activities with a designated area to do it in. If I have to dig out the stuff every time we want to do something like that... we don't end up doing it very often. I want him to be able to play with his playdoh whenever he wants instead of me trying to talk him out of it because I don't feel like getting it down and getting everything all set up.

Okay... well... I hope you guys have an awesome Thursday! Peace and love!!

Cute pink cards! :>

That furniture is going to be great in your bonus room!! (Drooling over the idea of a bonus room here!! :>) Yea, sawdust can be a pain. I've lost that one....my garage is covered in it (and one of the many reasons my car is in the driveway!). But, Hubby is a happier man when he gets to cut, glue, and nail gun stuff together. Speaking of which, we need to do a clean in the garage (its an abyss in there right now!), so he can get back out there creating again!! :> Good luck working on your bonus room!

Cute cute cards! Those keys are super cool! And yay for your bonus room! That is so exciting to have a place where kids can just be kids, they can have all their stuff at their fingertips.....and all you have to do is shut the door if you don't want to see the mess when they're done!!! Hope the projects go well! Take care! Love ya!

The bonus room looks like a fun place to get the creative juices going and it sounds like you and Carter are going to spend some good quality time together in that room.
