Simple Thank You

I wanted to share one of my many many... many rejects :) for the recent CARDS and PC calls! :) I won't even tell you which ones are rejects from here on out because there are so many that I will be showing them for a month... or two! :) Yes.... there are THAT many!

As disappointed as I am to not get any cards in PC... CARDS did show me some love and take one of my cards for publication so... I am beyond excited about that!

I wanted to share this simple Thank you card today because I wanted to take a second to tell you all... Thank You!! Thank you for your sweet comments that you leave day after day! Thank you for still visiting me and being my friend even though I have struggled lately with keeping up with you! Thank you for your birthday wishes for my son! Thank you... for being you! You guys bring me so much joy! :)

And... thank you to all of you new friends that I have not met yet. I have had several comments from some new names... I plan to meet you soon!! I promise! :)

Carver had a great birthday on Thursday! We went to Pump It Up on Friday with some of his friends/my friends for some play time. We were going to go to Chick-fil-A for lunch but as soon as we got into the parking lot... Carver started throwing up! He had played real well when we first got to PIU but after about an hour... he started just laying around a little bit. I thought he was just tired (we had been there an hour already and he had a big day the day before with no nap) and he was saying he was just tired. Anyway... turns out he had a stomach bug! He is still not 100% but he has not thrown up or ran a fever since Friday night! Praise God!!

I got a touch of it myself and am still not feeling 100% either! I haven't been throwing up but... let's just say... I am still not feeling all that good! :)

So.... this weekend just kind of came and went and was very unproductive! I hope to catch up with several of you as soon as I get done with this post and then catch up with everyone else tonight!

I hope you guys have had a terrific Sunday!

Peace and Love!!

I just adore this card. I really to give stitching a try.

I know how you feel about rejects. I could fill up my blog with rejects (and will) for awhile. I made so many and had 1 accepted by CARDS which is great. I guess I have no excuse for not having blog posts for awhile (a LONG while). Love ya

I love this card! The stitching is FAB! I am so sorry to hear Carver was sick on his birthday, that is no fun! Hopefully he (and you) are feeling better now. I am soooo happy to hear that you had a card accepted - big CONGRATS!!! I can't wait to see which one it is - in June! :)

Rejection is part of publishing life. Fortunately a little acceptance comes along once in awhile, too. :) Besides that, think of all the success you've had in on-line challenges. Lots and lots, I'd say. I don't think a week goes by that I don't see Kelley somewhere besides her front porch! Love ya, girl!

Your card is beautiful even though it wasn't accepted. Congrats on Cards picking one up though. I'm glad to hear Carver is feeling a bit better.

Apparently has a blind editor - or they'd be choosing your cards! I love this little card!!

Awww! Well, I love all of your cards, and you create such beautiful cards! It sounds like it takes a LOT of work and effort to get published. It's discouraging sometimes, but we can't give up!! *smile*

Oh, I missed Carver`s birthday! Happy belated Birthday to Carver! And I love your card! For me it`s perfect! Maybe they are planning to bring out a whole mag filled with your cards and are still waiting to have enough for a whole mag (that`s what my husband suggested) :)
Love ya!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Oh, so sorry about you and your little guy. Stomach bugs have got to be one of the worse things ever, yucky!!! Hope you have a speedy recovery :)

And the card... even though it wasn't chosen I think it is awesome. I love the faux stitch. It is an excellent design all the way around. TFS.

I know what your going through with the stomach bug. My daugher and I got it first a week before Christmas, my son a few days later and my hubby on new years! It's no fun! What a great card, really love the stitching and flower!
