Hello

I am actually showing a card today but what I really want to do is 'talk' more! :) Just in one of those deep thought moods I guess.

I want to thank you all for your encouraging comments from my soul searching post! It does my heart good to know that I am not alone in the world with my struggles! :) I feel good about getting my head out of the submission/publication way of thinking. I think it is going be more challenging than I think it will be as I am already wondering what I am going to work on.... ha! I don't have any recent pictures printed to start my scrapbooking so I guess I will work on that. Maybe I will continue participating in challenges for the sake of sketch and color ideas when I lack my own inspiration. Maybe I could just start going to bed at a decent hour! That would be good! :)

Anyway.... I won't do too much talking. Just wanted to share another card that I made for a submission. I still have several of those to share.... I may end up lumping them all in one post so I can clean out my bucket and start fresh! :) We shall see! I guess it depends on how long it takes me to be able to come in my craft room and just create just to be creating! So... I will post one at a time until I have something springish or fun to share! :)

Tomorrow I am hosting the Everything But The Kitchen Sink sketch challenge so make sure to come back and see the new sketch and see what the awesome prize will be for the winner!

Peace and Love!

Kelley, first, I love your card. Second, I am right there with you on the stressing out/what to do/why do I do it? thing! Lately my time has been spent doing things for my family and so my blogging and stamping have been put aside...and I LIVED!!! But here I am again, spending time away from my patient DH....so habits are hard to break. Listen to your heart, your family, and God. Not in that order, perhaps! You'll figure it out.
Hugs,
LeAnne

I love this Kelley - and you are not alone! I totally understand. It's all about balance, I guess and doing what you love that fills your soul. :)

Love the handstitching!

Ya know.....you can still do challenges with color & sketches for BOTH cardmaking and scrapbooking!! :> I love it when I see a scrappy layout show up on one of Dawn's color challenges and I've seen layouts done on sketch challenges too. So, you can still do them, but at YOUR pace. :> :>

And as for your soul searching post, isn't that what weB LOGs are suppoed to be?? A chance for everyone to get their voice out there! :>

Love the color and layout of this card - beautiful! And in regards to your previous post, welcome to the grey zone! Thanks for verbalizing what many others of us struggle with :0) I was having one of those "pressure to post" stamping nights a couple of days ago when my youngest asked me to read him a book in bed. I almost said, "mommy needs to finish this first" when I realized where my priorities and dedication really need to be. A goodnight snuggle and kiss from him is more rewarding than any completed card, comment or challenge win!!
