Moxie Fab Fun With Floss

Edit... this card was an Honorable Mention on Moxie Fab and a Mention on the CARDS blog for the Eyelet challenge.

I knew I wanted to play along with the Moxie Fab Fun With Floss challenge... I love stitching on cards, etc! I was having a hard time coming up with an idea using floss in a creative way. I thought of this and just went with it!

I haven't been able to concentrate a lot on blog hopping or making cards the past couple of nights because I had been worried about speaking to a group of teenage girls from church on Sunday night (last night)! I am soooo relieved that it is over! :) I do NOT do well with public speaking so I have been terrified. I was originally suppose to speak at the first of the month but because of weather... my night to speak was called off. Thankfully... because I didn't want to drive on the ice!

Anyway.... it went great! Well... let's say I had a great time! I hope the girls and leaders thought it went well. I really couldn't prepare a lot for what I would say because every time I would think about it... it would make me sick to my stomach! So.... I just relied on God to get me through it and give me the words to say! He did... of course! He got me through it ... along with some help from the leaders who asked me questions along the way!

Now I feel like I can breathe again! I am through with the public speaking thing, my thank you cards, and a project for a friend. I have one more project for another friend that I want to finish and then I will really feel like I have no stress... ha! Yeah right!

Hope you guys are having a great Monday!

Peace and Love!

What a great card!! So creative! I'm glad it went well for you last night. I'm terrified of speaking in front of people, too, so I can totally relate. But I'm sure it was a blessing to all those who heard you!

Such a fun card Kelley! Love it!
Glad to hear that your speaking engagement went well! I used to be terrified to speak in front of a crowd - as in couldn't sleep well for days before - thankfully though I have gained confidence over the years as my career requires a fair amount of public speaking & inservicing. It really helps that I love what I do and am comfortable speaking about it because it's what I do everyday at work - I work with children who are blind and visually impaired. Being passionate about it helps me when I need to "deliver the goods" to an audience. I am a lucky girl! :) (I should say that doesn't mean I don't get nervous at all, I sure do, but nowhere near as bad as it once was!)

Cheers,
Shanna :)

Wow!! This is completely amazing!! I'm the same way about public speaking- and public performances. I used to work so hard for plays, dance recitals, and choir performances and then bomb out once I got up there in front of everyone! LOL!
