Petite Florals

Hope you all had a wonderful Thursday! Mine was good! Carver spent the night last night with my in-laws so I was able to get about 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Made all the difference!

Going to be a short post.... want to play around with my new Unity kit of the month that I got today... awesome kit!! And... I need to keep the sleep thing going and try for 8 hours tonight! :)

I made this card last night and it took me way too long. I still wasn't thrilled with it but it is growing on me. I love this set by Kelly Marie/Lawn Fawn. I will have to play with it some more to see if I can do it justice!

This is the other card that I made a few nights ago using the set... wasn't happy at all with the bright colors but... I am going to post it anyway because that is how I am! :) There was no mojo in sight that night! :) Still struggling with it but I can feel it wanting to come back!

Peace and Love!

I like both cards! The dots are embossed well, I find that it doesn't always with the the plates. But I love that big dots one! I even like the bright one!

I love both of these cards! The stamps are super cute - great little flowers - the ribbon is perfect - and I love the colors in the second card. But brights are my favorite, so that's not surprising! Great work! See what a little sleep can do??? ;-)

Love your first card! I think because of the texture with the ribbon and the embossed dots? Or perhaps for some reason the ribbon seems to frame your flowers more? Or maybe there is just a bit more contrast? They are both fabulous cards.
