All About Dad - Post 1

Today I am posting 3 of 6 Dad cards that I made for publication submissions! Obviously none of them made the cut or I wouldn't be posting them right now!

I need to get some of my 'to post' cards out of my little bucket! It is way too full!

I also need to do some major email catch up and blog catch up! I have been so tired this week! I mean... like every night I have gone to bed or fallen asleep on the couch before midnight! Some nights before 11pm! It just doesn't leave me a lot of time to catch up after Carver is in the bed and I do a few chore type things! Anyway.... maybe tonight I can stay up and get caught up! Sorry for not visiting you for a while if I haven't! I have tried to catch up with at least a few people each night !

Also... if you are newer to my blog and I have not yet come to visit you .... I am truly sorry! I promise to try and do that soon too! I want to be friends! I really do! :)

Just never enough hours in the day, right?

Well... I got out of the house last night! It was so nice! I went to Target (I missed Target), to PetSmart, and to Kroger! Woo Hoo! :)

Okay.... I gotta go! Have several things going on today so I need to get with it!

Peace and Love!

I love the father's day cards - always harder than girlie cards! Especially the sailboat - that would be Bill's pick for sure! Keep up the good work!!

Great Dad cards! I love the stripes on the second one! I need to post more of my submission cards, but I guess I am too lazy! Maybe those will be my scheduled posts for vacation! That's what I will try to do! :)

Wow, Kelley! Three of six? I'm impressed that you made that many manly cards -- I think they're so hard to do! That middle one -- are those individual strips of brown paper? Love the look! I also like those bitty box sails. Sounds like you had a big night last night. :) Glad you got out for a bit!

It cracks me up that you are saying how odd it is you fell asleep before midnight. I do not do midnight, unless a kid forces me to be awake :O)

Love, love that middle card!! Love the deep colors, the retro piece in the middle, and the background you created! I definitely have a hard time with Dad cards and here, you've made six great ones! :>
