Everything But The Kitchen Sink Challenge 10

It is time for another Everything But The Kitchen Sink around the house challenge! Courtney Baker is the challenge hostess this month! Courtney chose fabric as her household item.

Make sure to check out the EBTKS blog for all of the challenge details and to see the other girls creations!

This month's sponsor is the Cutting Cafe. The winner of this months challenge will receive three digital sets of your choice!

Here is the first card that I created!

The flower is from Cutting Cafe's Heart Flower set!

I wasn't happy with this card (or the photography) ... AT ALL! I am only showing it to you because I made the 2nd card so late that this one was already scheduled to post on the EBTKS blog.

So... last night I had a duh moment, while working on a project for a friend, and made another card.

I will spare you all the boring details... let's just say... I am a little slow sometimes!

So... here is card #2... I like it much better. It is also using the Heart Flower set!

BTW.... you can use any fabric from your house... like an old t-shirt or sweater. So... get creative and cut up some old clothes! :)

I can't wait to see what you guys create!

Peace and Love!

Wonderful cards, Kelley. I love the black with the pop of bright pink. But the colors in the second one are so appealing. Love the center of the flower, too. Great use of fabric!

Both are fantastic Kelley! What did you use for the middle of the flower? Or did I miss reading that? I LOVE using fabric on my cards - can't wait to play along!
Happy Sunday!

Both cards are good, but I agree with you that the second one is fabulous! Have you tried felting old sweater fabric? It might be an interesting thing to do with this challenge....
