Still Cleaning Up The Bucket!

Here are several cards that have yet to be posted!

I really need to find time to work on some new cards but until then... I will keep posting some old ones!

The mojo is just not flowing these days! I really think I need some warm weather and sunlight! I am tired of the cold and snow! Just feeling kind of blah and like I stink at card making! I am not saying that to get sweet comments! So please don't feel like you have to cheer me up! :) Does anyone else ever feel like they just suck? For lack of better terminology? That is just how I feel right now and I just need to snap out of it!

I think it is because I seem to be stuck in the Clean and Simple category of card making! Not that there is anything wrong with CAS... I love CAS... I would just like to be good at making cards that are not CAS! Anyway... enough whining! :) I am really not depressed... I promise... just sharing my thoughts... as usual! :) I will snap out of it!

Even though I don't have my 'monthly friend' visit anymore... do you think that I can still have the moodiness that goes along with it? I mean... I still have my ovaries?!?! Okay... did I share too much? You guys know all of this anyway so... it isn't like I am telling you something new or that is a secret! :) Maybe I am just moody and I can't blame it on that anymore! :)

I absolutely love these cards, especially that first one. I would love to scraplift that idea!!

You don't suck at all! I have bad mojo days too, it comes and goes. Try and do something that makes you happy, or that inspires you. That usually helps the mojo and the soul ;)

Have Fun & Take Care Hun.

Girl, don't change how you are. I love that you open up to us:) I love your cards, but I understand how you feel. I've been feeling like that myself lately. Like none of my stuff is any good, only I can't seem to pull off CAS :) Hang in there... Loveya

Wow, these are ALL awesome-although I am partial to the beribboned, be-buttoned, rainbow-hued thank you card!!! And yes, despite our internal organs or lack thereof, we still get moody - AT LEAST once a month! Just God's way of reminding us who exactly is in control! Givin' you a big ole' cyber hug!

Kelley your CAS cards are just fabulous! I love them! I feel the same way as you all the time. I love doing CAS cards as well but then see these most gorgeous, elaborate cards other girls are creating and second guess my stuff. I often try different styles to see how it feels but always come back to stamping and CAS cards. You've got to just do what feels right for you and try not to compare. Your work is so fresh and fun and I love seeing what you create everyday! ((hugs))

I like them all, but I like 1 and 4 the best. And yes, post-surgery you still enjoy a cycle that includes moodiness. Fun - NOT!

Okay, loving them all, but you know how I flip out whenever you go all out on the colors. NUmber one is my absolute FAV!!! Not that I see any evidence of sucking here.....but I can totally relate to the feeling. I get in slumps where nothing seems to turn out right and I can't think of anything...sometimes I even lose my desire to craft (gasp!)! In fact, I'm there right now....it's no fun!

I love them all, but my two favs are the first and last! CAS is my favorite cards to create! I feel good about them after I finish them, everybody else might not like them, but I do. And yes, I am always thinking mine don't compare to other's cards, but I'm not them, I am my own person! So I have to find what makes me happy! I have had lack of Mojo lately, and I think us crafting together, just might fix it! :)
And yes, your body still has the same monthly "feelings"! :(

The one with the giraffe is so very cute! I don't know why they would not have chosen that one!

Kelley....these cards are adorable. I love the butterfly thanks, and the thanks card with all the buttons, but I would have to say my favorite is the baby card with the giraffe and the little bird! How cute! Sorry you're on the downhill of the rollercoatster right now....the good thing is, it always goes up again!!! And even though you're trusty friend doesn't pay you a visit any longer....you still have hormones, my friend. I think that they have way more impact on us than we give them credit for. Hope your mojo comes roarin' back real soon, and that y'all get some happy sunshine too!

Kelley, all these cards are just like you - simply adorable :0) I get into a funk sometimes too, thinking everything looks the same - same color combo, same layout, yada, yada, yada. Although we're opposites - I always thnk I can't leave well enough alone and CAN"T keep it CAS! And as far as the time of the month - if my husband can have it - you can too ;0)

Loving all of your cards and I always love CAS! Don't change who you are!

Kelley, these cards are wonderful!! I particularly love the first one....and the second one....and the third one.... and - - - oh, heck, I love them all! If it's any consolation, I wish I could be CAS - I always tend to overdecorate - my daughter calls it my "hippie" genes!! It's ok to know how to do all of it, but it's no sin to stick with what you do best!! (That rainbow makes me smile!)

Well, I happen to love all your cards! And I'm another CAS gal, so I hear ya!

Let's see...for being sick of the dark, cold, & snow, try eating an orange....smell it first! Seriously!

And as for the hormones & moodiness minus a unterus, but with ovaries...YES!!! Your hormones are produced in your ovaries, so YES!!!! And my non-medical suggestion is to eat a baked potato!!! I'm not a nutritionist, nor do I work in the medical field, but I've read it several times over the years that eating a baked potato can up the seratonin levels in your brain.....the happy stuff in there. I'm not a neurologist, but when I'm feeling yucky, moody, whiney I eat a baked potato..................and it does help.....so much so, that even Hubby suggests it now when I'm feeling like that! LOL!!! :>:>

The snow will eventually melt and the tulips will bloom....ooooo happy tulips! Actually, love the irises even more! :>

What are good friends for, if not to let you whine a little and not hold it against you? I agree with Karen and I'm going to steal her Bake Potato idea:) LOL. I love the snow and the kind of snuggly, bundle up in a blanket, make soup and have hot chocolate kind of time. No school, no going out. I LOVE IT:) However, I've been whiney since November:) Take a good nap, make a good hot cup of tea and finding something to read. Then one morning, you'll wake up and ideas will start popping up like those tulips in Springtime:)

I really like the card with the framed butterflies! I had to pop over and say hi--HI! because I was just looking at Dawn McVey's (sp?) site...did you see the new button jar stamp from PTI? I thought of you right away when I saw that!!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one in a funk. My creative juices have come to a screeching halt. Don't be down on the CAS cards - sometimes they say more than a fancy bedazzled one. They look great!

I think a good griping session is needed every once in awhile. If you can't complain and be yourself among friends and family, then where? :) Funny, when I was reading your writing I read "I need to snap out of it" as "I need to stamp out of it." Each time you wrote that I read "snap" as "stamp" the first time through. Maybe that's good advice... so, Kelley, "Stamp out of it!" My two favorite cards here are the create-inspire, etc. one (classic Kelley CAS, in my opinion) and the framed butterfly thanks. I love seeing your "bucket" cards. I've been going through some of my pre-blog cards and think I'll be posting some, too. Thanks for the idea!

Hey girl....where in the world have I been? I can't believe it's been so long since I've officially visited (I'm thinking my quick reads on Reader don't count)!

Everybody needs to vent, so you go right ahead! I love the hello baby card w/the giraffe...seems like you can do more than CAS there! Keep in mind, who cares what style they are when they're as great as all of yours :)
