We Interrupt This Regularly Scheduled Program

.... bucket cards... to bring you A NEW CARD!! Woo Hoo! I actually made a card last night! Working on making a few more thank you cards to send to a couple of family members, etc!

The stitching still isn't perfect but I am enjoying using my sewing machine. Hopefully I will get better with more practice! I have a little Singer craft machine and my sweet friend, Sarah, insisted that I borrow one of her (seven... shhhh) sewing machines! So... looking forward to trying that out! She came over this morning with her adorable granddaughter to show me how to thread it!

Thank you guys so much for the tips/advice on getting started with my scrapbooking! I REALLY appreciate it! I started scrapbooking a long time ago. I had scrapbooks in middle school and high school but I didn't have any supplies to make them pretty! They were pretty much just a place for me to keep all of my school and sport memories together! So... I guess I have been scrapbooking for a long time. I have yet to finish a scrapbook for myself. I have one that stares at me everyday needing to be finished. I started it in 2005 I think!...so Yea! I have done a few for family members though!

I am just really excited to dive in and do it! I have so many supplies and I am thinking/hoping that I can use up a lot of my stuff, that I hoard, in my scrapbooks! I think I will use it since it is on something that I will be keeping! Unless of course my scrapbooking will be like my card making... Clean and Simple... then I just need to sell a bunch of crap! Ha!!

Anyway... Thank you Thank you Thank you! and thanks for coming back day after day to check in with me! You guys are the best!

Peace and Love!

Kelley, love this card..... love that butterfly with the rhinestones....fabulous stitching! My sewing machine broke like 2 years ago, and it wasn't worth repairing, and I haven't gotten around to getting another....I miss it so much especially when I see what cute things can be done on cards! Plus I have this quilt (2 actually) that have been sitting around for 2 years, and I NEED to finish them. Craziness....sorry I haven't been around in blogland lately....too much other stuff going on! I just got a chance to catch up on your blog, and everything you have posted is just amazing! Thanks for sharing all you wonderful ideas and skills with all of us! Hope you're doing well!

Love that butterfly and so fun to include stitching! I have a sewing machine, but I haven't used paper in it yet....paper dust is really hard on them. So, I'm hoping to pick up a used one cheap one of these days that I wouldn't mind being hard on it. :> This is all in the hopes that I actually learn how to sew FABRIC, and not just paper, with a sewing machine!! lol I did pick up a couple of patterns a week ago, so now I just have to try to figure them out and get some fabric. :>

Always glad to pop in and see what you are up to, Kelley! :>

I love your card, but it reminds me about how I'm grumpy w/PTI. I tried ordering the new butterfly die (and a bunch of other goodies) at 12:30 the night of the release and they were already sold out. Don't they realize how I NEED it, especially when I see gorgeous creations like yours :)
