This is the other project that I worked on lately. I think I am going to have to enlist the help of a friend who is a wonderful seamstress (hint hint) to finish/fix it! I saw the idea in Pottery Barn last year but of course I am not going to pay what they want for it when I can make one... or so I thought. So... here is the ... let's call it... rough draft...
I want to replace the twine with ribbon and sew it where I can get the buckets to all stay facing forward. I also need to measure my mantle and do better about making it fit.
Peace and Love!

Such a cute advent bucket idea! Too cute! I think you did a really good job! As for your other post it was like that for me for a bit I had such a hard time! But not this week! Now I feel like I could use a few more blogs to read, hahaha! Not with summer coming! Sometimes I look every few days and write one comment for all of them, like the fact that I love those tags! They are soo cute! And look so good! :>
brilliant idea!
WHOA! Kelley! This looks like SUCH fun! Carver is going to have a ball with this come Christmas time! Can't wait to see the finished product!
What a great idea! I love it! :)
Love this idea! So fun and festive!
This is awesome! Makes me want it to be the holidays that much more!
Not to say I'm assuming that I'm the sewing friend you referred to, but I'd be glad to help you finish it up - although it looks like you've done a great job so far! If I understand what you want to do, it should be simple. Let me know!
