Shine On Moxie Fab!! Shine On!!

Ok... so I ended up entering my 'will work' sign for Moxie Fab! I just couldn't help myself! I thought it was too funny! HOWEVER... I do understand that it isn't funny in the fact that, unfortunately, many ladies... just like us... may have to resort to trying to sell their crafty goodies to make money for food! Jobs are so hard to come by these days so... in that regard... it isn't funny!

I just love love love stamping and crafting so... that sign is definitely a household staple around here. I would rather be stamping for food than doing any other kind of work!! How about you girls? Wouldn't it be awesome to get paid ... and I mean... a good amount of money... to do something you love to do? That is my dream anyway!! :)

Ok... so enough on that subject!

Here is the card that I had originally planned on making to enter into the Moxie Fab current challenge! Because of the sentiments in this set, I tried to make it sort of a Valentines card! I thought I could send it to family or friends around Valentines Day just to say... "hey... you light up my life!"!!

Well... enough chatter from me today! Off to watch the last episode of The Guiding Light! Ha! I have been a stay at home mom for almost 3 years now and have never really gotten into watching soap operas!! They are so silly! However... this soap is one that I watched in the summers as a teenager so I was sad to hear it was going off the air! I have been trying to watch bits and pieces of it since I heard the news! Yesterday I was glued to the couch the entire episode and just cried... :) How silly is that? I am sure I will do the same today!

Hope you all are having a Fabulous Friday!!

Supplies:
Stamps - Shine On (Unity)
Paper - Soft Suede, Purely Pomegranate (SU), Scarlet Jewel (PTI), BG Praline Bittersweet collection
Ink - True Black
Other - Kaiser Rhinestones, SU Dimensionals

Cute card, Kelley. Like the way you added the gemstones to the lamps. I think it'll be a great Valentine's card.
I never got into The Guiding Light, but when I first became a stay at home mom I started watching the ABC soaps (All My Children, One Life to Live, and General Hospital). Then, one night all the soap characters started entering my dreams and I decided that was enough. I stopped watching "cold turkey" and haven't watched them since! (But I can certainly relate to sitting on the couch and crying over a TV show!) Have a great weekend!

So cute! I love those stamps and the paper piercing is great! Yes, it would be nice to get paid for doing what we love! I have thought about opening a scrap shop one day! But, we already have one business and I can't stand doing all the paper work and TAXES!!! :) But praise God the work is there to have paper work and taxes!

This is fab! Love the bling and the colours and how you make the middle lamp stand out! I agree... I would love to make money with crafting! That would be a wonderful dream come true!! Well it would be fantastic to be sponsored in a kind of way, I spend way too much money on my supplies!! I hope you`ll have a new printer soon! Ours is broken, too and I had to convince my husband to print my digi images at work :) Yesterday he agreed that we buy a new printer, woohoo! I would be happy to send you some images as soon as the printer is here! Just let me know if you`d like to have some!

Happy weekend!

Hugs,
Vanessa

I love your card! I love Guiding Light, too. I haven't watched it in years, though. I grew up with my grandmother andshe watched it every day, so whenI went to college andgot married, I did too for a long time. I miss some of those originals. I'd love to know how it ended! It's still like spending time with my grandmother!

This is SOOO cute! I love your idea- if only we could all craft for $$. Wouldn't that be perfect? Maybe in heaven we get to sit around and craft all day?? Forget the streets of gold- I just need a few stamps and a little ink and I'll be smiling for eternity!
