This bud vase cost me $75. Well... it cost Michael $75 since he is the official bread winner in the family. This is the most expensive vase I will ever own. I have two others that I will gladly sell for the low price of $75. Any takers?
Carver has had many ear infections in his short 2 years. He has expensive taste (like his mommy) and only seems to respond well to a medicine that costs us $75 a pop. After recycling several of these, I decided to start keeping them and find a different way of recycling them. I decorated this one last night and thought it would be a cute bud vase. I think I will keep it on my desk in my craft room. I know expenses will only increase as Carver ages so maybe this vase will help me resist the urge to buy that newly released Papertrey stamp set and instead put some money in Carvers bank account!

Cute Kelley! And I have to say when I read that I thought "Please tell me she didn't pay $75 for that brown vase." Ha ha!
I was hoping someone would think that!! :-) Thanks for falling into the trap! Ha...
Such a sweet and funny blog at the same time. A great idea to save it as you did. As Carver ages the vase will remind you of when it only use to be "$75" that you spent on Carver. Love ya! Can't wait to begin our Thursday nights together.
My SIL was talking today about my nephew wanting some $120 tennis shoes. I better start praying now to find a good paying job once Carver starts school! :-) I am sooooo excited about class now. I haven't been this excited about class in a while!
Sadley, I recognize the little brown bottle and could probably tell you what antibiotic it held at one time :)
I am sure you could! :-) We are scheduled for tubes on Tuesday so... I pray we won't have to buy anymore expensive brown bottles of medicine!
