Stamping Moxie Fab
Well... Friday night was my last night to stamp so I decided to make two cards for this Moxie Fab Challenge! Since the challenge was stamping... I just wanted to stamp on my cards. I did use my crayola colored pencils on the first card and added a little bling on the second card but other than that.... stamps and ink baby!
I am going to miss stamping for a few days! I hope my mojo doesn't stay at the beach after we leave! :)
However, after reading Janelle's post, I think I am in need of a blog vacation! I feel guilty A LOT because I spend a lot of time blogging, blurfing, or dreaming about blogging, making cards, and blurfing! :) So... this will be a much needed get away for us to share some family time. Carver is growing up so fast and I don't want to be so consumed with my blog and crafting! I love it so much but... I need to make sure that my family gets the attention they deserve and need! I almost hate that I have finally found what I think is 'my thing' (meaning... hobby) and it takes up so much of my time. I need to do a better job with time management and maybe get over my 'MUST POST EVERYDAY' obsession! :)
Wow... didn't mean to get into all that but I am sure most of you who will read this totally understand what I am saying!
I am sure though that I will be checking in from time to time on your blogs. I KNOW my hubby won't be able to stay off his computer the whole time we are gone so while C is napping, I guess we will be on laptops doing our thing! :) Or napping!
I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week next week! :) Peace and Love!
Oh... and if you think about me while you are blogging/blurfing.. please say a prayer for safety and some great family time! We would appreciate it!

Classy and Elegant
Still having fun participating in Cath's Moxie Fab challenges! This is my card for the classy and elegant challenge. You can read Cath's post here.
I think these PTI colors are just classy and elegant... they are two of my favorite colors! Besides kraft of course! And... can I say that THE BEST embossing powder in the world is the Filigree Fine Art Powder that PTI sells. I had used several different kinds of clear embossing powder and I was not happy with any of them. I love love love this Filigree powder! If you don't own some... go buy it now! You will not be disappointed!
So... last night I was up way too late. I was about to get ready for bed and I saw that my blog friend, Carly, had a new post. So... of course I went to see what she had posted. When I got to her blog, I realized that I won some blog candy! A massive amount of blog candy! I was and still am so excited! Carly has an amazing blog... she is so sweet and so creative/talented! If you don't know Carly... you should! Carly will always have a special place in my heart because she was one of the first non-family/non-Courtney :) people who would visit my blog and leave me comments! I loved her instantly! Thanks again Carly!
Speaking of love... I know that I say that I love you guys a lot! :) I hope that doesn't make anyone uncomfortable! Ha... I am a hugger and I am a tell you I love you kind of person! I know that I don't know you guys personally but you all bring me so much joy so I do love you! In recent years, I realized that some people don't want to be hugged and don't want to be told that they are loved! So... if you are one of these people... I am sorry! :) Just ignore me and go on! :) Oh... and just so you know that I am not saying I am so nice all the time... I am an extreme type... I am either really happy/loving, etc... or... I am the other way! Just ask my husband! :)
Sorry to be so chatty again! I am still in this go go go panic mode!
Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

Vintage Moxie Fab
This is my card for the Moxie Fab Vintage and Shabby Chic Challenge. You can see Cath's post about the challenge here.
I can't stress enough how bad I am about styles! I hope this is close! :) I love love love vintage and feel pretty confident about spotting something vintage but when it comes to putting my vintage challenge card up for all to see... I am worried that maybe it isn't vintage! :) I know the image is because the stamp set it is from is called Vintage Christmas! Ha!
I love this image! It is one of my favorite Christmas images that I have!
Switching subjects.... I am getting in panic mode trying to get ready for our trip! I am feeling a little crazy at the moment! I had hoped to have some posts scheduled for the days that I was away but.... looks more and more like that may not happen! I may actually have to go a day without posting... and not just a day... several days. I don't know if I am going to be able to live with myself! :)
I have made several cards but I am submitting, for the 2nd time, to Paper Crafts! That means that probably in a couple of weeks I am going to have too many cards to post! :) Maile, Winter, and Kelly are all going to have cards published in an upcoming issue of Paper Crafts so you girls gave me some hope! I am very happy for all of you and I am sooooo serious about getting that issue mailed to each of you for an autograph! :)
Switching subjects again... You guys must be some good pray-ers! :) I got a phone call this morning from my doctors office telling me that my results were back and that I do not have an infection! This means that 1. I have passed the stone or 2. I still have a stone and am just not being bothered by it at the moment! I was so surprised when I heard that I didn't have an infection. I felt so much better after a few doses of antibiotics and that would only help if it were an infection! Must have just been you guys praying for me that did the trick so again.... Thank You... Thank You... Thank You!
I do have one more request! Carver has not felt well the past two days so if you guys wouldn't mind just saying a prayer for my baby... I would appreciate it!
Hope you all have a fabulous Friday!
Supplies:
Stamps - Vintage Christmas (Crafty Secrets)
Paper - Kraft (PTI), Jolly by Golly (Cosmo Cricket), Rustic Cream (PTI)
Ink - Vintage Photo Distress (Ranger), Dark Chocolate (PTI)
Ohter - Rustic Jute Twine and Wood Button (PTI), Antique Key (Joann's)

Clean and Graphic Moxie Fab
Ok... so I changed my mind and entered my first 'clean and graphic' card in the 'fun and cute' challenge. I tell you what... I stink at knowing about styles... seriously!
This is my new entry into the Moxie Fab Clean and Graphic challenge. You can read about Cath's challenge here!
Very simple and plain but I like how the Guidelines II paper from PTI adds a little something to it!
Hope you all are having a great day! I will post my vintage/not sure if it is really vintage card later on! :)
Supplies:
Paper - Guidelines II (PTI), Berry Red Dot (Bo Bunny)
Other - AC Joy Flair, Marvy Square Punch, SU Dimensionals, Corner Rounder
Moxie Fab Fun and Cute Challenge
Cath at Moxie Fab is having some great challenges right now. This is my entry for the Moxie Fab Fun and Cute Challenge. Click here to see Cath's post.
I love these little people!
When I was brainstorming about an idea... I realized that I hadn't prayed about it. So... I stopped and prayed and this idea came to me almost immediately! God is good! This card may not be one of the two chosen as 'winners' but... I love it! That is what matters right? It would be awesome if Cath loved it too but... that is beside the point! :) I just pray for ideas and for cards that I am happy with. God knows already that I want to win so I don't have to pray for that. Ha!
I was almost giddy when I thought of the santa hat idea. I had to stamp a Santa and cut out the little hat... fits perfectly! I colored it with copics and added a rhinestone and some stickles!
Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday! Thanks again for your prayers and sweet comments... I am sooooo much better! I know part of it is antibiotics and the other part is because I had some amazing women offering up prayers on my behalf!
Peace and Love!
Supplies:
Stamps- Family (Autumn Leaves), Make a Tag (Missy B Designs?)
Paper - White (PTI)
Ink - Black StazOn
Other - Kaiser Rhinestones, Frosted Lace Stickles, Epoxy Heart, Making Memories Tiny Alpha stickers

It's Been a While
since I have posted any pics of the kiddo!
Yesterday, after Carver ate dinner, we changed into some play around the house clothes. Carver was going to get to ride on the lawn mower with daddy. I told Carver to go get his shoes and he came back with his chucks. Carver NEVER picks these shoes to wear and he hasn't worn them at all this summer. I told him to go get his sandals to which he replied, "No mommy. My chucks match my outfit."!! I couldn't argue with that so... we put them on! Such a smart little man we have!

I made this card a week or so ago! I did make some new cards for the Moxie Fab challenge but will have to take pics of them today and post one tonight!
I got this stamp on clearance at Hobby Lobby. I always look at this stamp when I walk through the aisles. I don't know why but I love it! Anyway...
Hope you guys have a wonderful Wednesday! Sorry so short but I wanted to get my post done so maybe I could make another card or two during nap time today. It is 12:30 am on Wednesday morning and I am going to bed! :)

Simple Merry Christmas
Well... I am feeling some better so far this morning but I haven't done a lot yet. I took Carver to school and have just been sitting around for the most part. I am going to wait and see how today and tonight go before I schedule a CT Scan. I don't want to spend the money or time just so they can tell me that I have a kidney stone and that I will have to go home and wait to pass it. I am hopeful that it is an infection and is already starting to get better. We shall see!
Ok... so since I haven't felt well, I haven't crafted in a few days. This is a card that I made a week or so ago. Nothing fancy...definitely not a favorite. I just wanted to use my new Bo Bunny Christmas stamps so I made this simple little card. I colored it with copics and added some glossy accents. Again.... NOT a favorite but I wanted to post it anyway and make you all come for a visit! :) ha..
Hopefully I can get something better made and can share it later tonight/tomorrow! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers! I love you guys!

Raspberry Suite 15
It's Raspberry Sweeeeeet Time! I love this color combo! Such a pretty and feminine group of colors!
I am going to keep this short because I am not feeling well! I went to the fair last night but when I got home, I was not feeling well at all! Long story short.... I have been hurting on and off for a few weeks... worse last night and today... went to the doc this morning and treating me right now for infection... but ... more than likely I have kidney stones!! I have to call back in the morning if I am not better and will be set up for a scan to see what is going on! Fun Fun!
I have a lot of catching up to do on all my favorite blogs so I hope to do that tonight! Just wanted to get this posted because I have said before.... I can't go a day without posting! It's really an unhealthy obsession! :)
Hope you are all having a great Monday!

Hi
I wanted to play with my new Cosmo Cricket paper and this is what I came up with! Not my fav. card ever but it is ok!
I actually stamped a sentiment at the bottom of the card and then added some paper piercing! Didn't turn out the way I had hoped so I ended up cutting it off and came out with an odd shaped card! Oh well! Sometimes that happens! I hated to scrap the whole thing so I just stuck some Thickers on it and said... "there ya go!".
Hope you have all had a wonderful Sunday so far! We went to church and then went out to eat. Carver is napping and I rested in the bed for a few minutes! Trying to decide if I want to go back to the fair tonight! If I do... it will just be me and Carver. Not sure if I want to handle that on my own but the weather is low 70s... so nice! I might just have to give it a try!
Anyway... I will post my Raspberry Suite card after midnight! :) Going to go take a picture of it now! Peace and Love!
Picture
Hello! I usually type of the next days post before going to bed... well... it is the next day already and I am too tired. I need to go to bed! :) I have been working on a lot of cards the past two days! Anyway... I had a question this morning about my letterpress type so I thought I would take a picture in case anyone was interested in what they look like and didn't already know! :) Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday morning! I will be back this afternoon with a card!

Caardvarks Challenge
The latest Caardvarks Challenge was to make a card/project using the colors black, white, and hot pink! I love these colors together so, of course, I wanted to play along!
I hope you all have had a wonderful Friday! I forgot that our county fair started tonight so we decided at the last minute to go. We didn't get home and get Carver ready for bed until 11pm. We usually aim to get him in the bed at 8pm! So.... I am tired and ready for bed myself! Sorry for the short post!
Happy Saturday!

Stamps - Handwritten Notes
Paper - White, Black and White Basics, Raspberry Fizz
Ink - True Black

More Letterpress
Happy Friday! Hope you all have some fun plans for the weekend! We don't have a whole lot planned other than going to watch my niece and nephew play softball and football. I have been pretty tired this week (from staying up too late) so it will be nice to just relax around the house. I think we are even coming home after church this week. Usually we go to my parents or to Michael's parents. Even though we enjoy spending time with our families, it will be nice to just come home and have lunch with just our little family unit. We may even be able to take a nap before Michael has to go back to church! I love lazy weekends!
Anyway... I didn't think I was going to be chatty on this post but... looks like I am! :)
Thank you all for the sweet comments on the mention over at Nichole's blog! You guys are great!
These are the last two 4x4 cards that I made with my letterpress type. I love the exclamation point! It's my favorite! I use it a lot so it only makes sense that it is my favorite of the few that I have. I have to make myself use periods because I want to use !!!! all the time! :)
Again... I used the new SU In Colors. Three of the word sentiments I used are from CHF Scripty Words by Kim Hughes and the other one is from Ali Edwards Everyday Words. Love both of these sets!
Peace and Love!

You're Getting Very Sleepy
Now give us all your candy!
I love these BG Gamma girl and boy images! When I first saw them, I thought they were a little too freaky and didn't buy them. I had to get them later on because I couldn't quit thinking about them. I love $1 stamps! I think all of my favorite companies should sell $1 stamps, don't you? :)
I have been itching to play with them so... I finally did! I stamped the images last night and colored them with copics but I was having a hard time finishing it off. I wanted to see how copics would color on kraft paper. I ended up liking it so I cut the paper to make a 4x4 card.
Today, I added all of the letter stickers. Can you tell that I am into letter stickers these days? I get frustrated because I don't have a lot of sentiment stamps. I wish there were a better selection out there of different/unusual sayings. For the most part, they are all the same. Letter stickers solves this problem for me! Plus... I think they just look cool! If you guys have any sentiment suggestions... please let me know! I know I could be really creative and print my own but my printer won't run cardstock through it!
So... I saw Courtney tonight at church and she had some new PTI goodies for me! I ordered all the new buttons... oh my goodness... I love the red and darker purple buttons the most! I can't wait to use them! Maybe I should shut up and do that now!
One more thing before I go... speaking of buttons... I got an honorable mention at Nichole Heady's blog today! Woo Hoo! The category was best use of buttons. Nichole chose my chickadee card as an honorable mention! Sweet!
Hope you guys have a wonderful Thursday!
Supplies:
Gamma girl and boy stamps by Basic Grey, Only Orange (SU), and Kraft (PTI) paper, Black StazOn, Vintage Photo Distress Ink (ranger), EK Success tiny alpha stickers, Doodlebug Tangerine stickers, copics

Fly Boy!
Last night, it was really late when I got ready to get in the bed. I knew Michael was upstairs asleep because that is how I find him almost every night. What I didn't know was that he had turned into a fly! :)
I laughed out loud when I saw him. Bless his heart... the light was bright shining in his eyes! Love you honey! Thanks for letting me post this!

2 Sketches 4 U
This is my card for the 2 Sketches 4 U! Love this sketch! I used Baja Breeze from SU for the base and my lovely Early Bird paper by Cosmo Cricket. I love that stuff!
The image is from Unity! I love this too! I colored it with copics and added some Baja Breeze ribbon, thickers, and tiny alpha stickers! I hope you can see the stamped sentiment. It is from SU!
Sorry this is so 'too the point'! :) I have been up way too long working on a couple of cards that I just can't get to work! I think I need to sleep on it and try it again tomorrow!
I want to say "Thank You" to all of you for your sweet comments on the 'spotlight' feature! You guys are the best! :) Love you all and have never even met you!
One last thing, check out the post below... I left a few blog awards for some of my newer buds!
Peace and Love! Happy Wednesday! :)

Blog Awards
I have received several blog awards over the past few weeks from some wonderfully sweet and talented women! I can't tell you all how much I have enjoyed having this blog and meeting so many wonderful women! I look forward to 'talking' to each of you everyday! I would have started a blog a long time ago if I had only known what a blessing it would be in my life! Thank you all for passing on these awards to me! I am honored!
Kristina, Alanna, and Winter awarded me this award...
I am passing this award on to some wonderful new friends and talented crafters! I think the 'rules' are to send it to 5 people but I am choosing to send it to 3!?!?!?
Janelle - Show and Tell
Tiffany - Stamping at Tiffany's
Vanessa - wings of a butterfly
My new friend, Tiffany, sent me the Karma Award! Thanks Tiffany! :)
The Karma Award: "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers. Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award."
Again... I am choosing to send this to 3 of my new friends!
Karen - Time Crafted
Randee - Randee's Rendezvous
Alanna - Alanna's Spot In The World
One last , but not least, award that I received is from one of my newest friends, Vanessa.
I am choosing to give this award to:
Amy - Tsuruta Designs
Jane - Jane ( I know you received this from Vanessa but I like your style too!)
Maile - Simply Stamped
If you don't already know some of these ladies... you should go check out their blogs! They are all so sweet and so talented!!
Thanks for hanging in there with me! :)

Tuesday Post
I couldn't come up with another title! :) Tuesday Post works!
I bought some letterpress type (I think that is what it is called) a while ago. I look at them everyday! They just look cool!
I wanted to finally ink them up and make some cards.
I only bought letters because 1. they were cheaper and 2. the smaller letterpress blocks/whatever can be used with stamp pads. I love the letterpress look! Maybe one day when I win the lottery, I can buy my own letterpress! Oh wait... I guess you have to play the lottery to win. Oh well!
I used the new SU In Colors on all 4 of my cards and a little epoxy heart sticker... love these little hearts! I still have to take a picture of one of the 4 I made so I will post the other two in a couple of days!
On another, more exciting, note... I made the spotlight on Dawn's latest color challenge! Woo Hoo! I have to blog about it on this post since this is my journal of this kind of stuff (promise I am not the 'look at me' type). I am very honored, as I love all of Dawn's creations! I almost didn't look at Dawn's post about her selections. I just figured as always... I wouldn't make it! So glad I looked! I ran in the living room doing a happy dance and I think it scared my husband! :)
Carver starts school today so... back to my regularly cleaning program! Fun fun! :)
Happy Tuesday!

Taylored Expressions 78
Hello all my blogging buds and anyone else who may wander by! :) Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
There isn't a whole lot going on with me! I am going to make this short and sweet so I can go fix me some late dinner and then I have a lot of clothes to iron! I hate ironing!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway.... I decided to use Taylor's newest sketch as a chance to use some more of my Bo Bunny Christmas paper!
At this rate, I don't think I will have any problem having my Christmas cards done in plenty of time this year! :)
Happy Monday! Peace and Love!

Card Patterns
I really like the new Card Patterns sketch! As simple as it looks (and should be), I spent way too much time on this card! I had an idea and then didn't like it but had already glued all of the pieces together except for the stamped image. Anyway.... instead of wasting the paper, I came up with this. You would think I would learn my lesson about doing that!
I really like this new Bo Bunny Christmas line. I used my Crayola coloring pencils to color in the ornaments. I didn't have the color Copics that I wanted to use and I like how the coloring pencils look on kraft paper!
Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Jacksonbelle Challenge
Sometimes it is nice to make a card with no stamping so I was excited to see Jacksonbelle's latest challenge... no stamping! I knew immediately that I wanted to play along!
I think I have a new obsession... and it is all Tina's (aka Travelingmama) fault!! I usually make the standard size cards that fit in the A2 envelopes. However... PTI is releasing new envelope sizes today! Woo Hoo! I feel like I can actually do something different now. Very liberating! :) I guess I have just been lazy about finding different sizes of envelopes.
I had just read Tina's post, about her 4x4 cards, right before I started working on my challenge card. I cut the squares with a punch and then decided I wanted a mat behind. Guess what size the mat was... that's right 4x4! I thought... hey.. I can make a 4x4 card now! I will just leave it as is instead of adhering it to a bigger card. So.... I LOVE THIS SIZE CARD! Again... new obsession alert! Thanks a lot Tina! :)
This paper is by Crate Paper! I have had it for a while but haven't used it yet! Oh my... I love it! It even feels great!
Well... enough rambling! Happy Saturday!!
