Classy and Elegant

Still having fun participating in Cath's Moxie Fab challenges! This is my card for the classy and elegant challenge. You can read Cath's post here.

I think these PTI colors are just classy and elegant... they are two of my favorite colors! Besides kraft of course! And... can I say that THE BEST embossing powder in the world is the Filigree Fine Art Powder that PTI sells. I had used several different kinds of clear embossing powder and I was not happy with any of them. I love love love this Filigree powder! If you don't own some... go buy it now! You will not be disappointed!

So... last night I was up way too late. I was about to get ready for bed and I saw that my blog friend, Carly, had a new post. So... of course I went to see what she had posted. When I got to her blog, I realized that I won some blog candy! A massive amount of blog candy! I was and still am so excited! Carly has an amazing blog... she is so sweet and so creative/talented! If you don't know Carly... you should! Carly will always have a special place in my heart because she was one of the first non-family/non-Courtney :) people who would visit my blog and leave me comments! I loved her instantly! Thanks again Carly!

Speaking of love... I know that I say that I love you guys a lot! :) I hope that doesn't make anyone uncomfortable! Ha... I am a hugger and I am a tell you I love you kind of person! I know that I don't know you guys personally but you all bring me so much joy so I do love you! In recent years, I realized that some people don't want to be hugged and don't want to be told that they are loved! So... if you are one of these people... I am sorry! :) Just ignore me and go on! :) Oh... and just so you know that I am not saying I am so nice all the time... I am an extreme type... I am either really happy/loving, etc... or... I am the other way! Just ask my husband! :)

Sorry to be so chatty again! I am still in this go go go panic mode!

Hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

I've been working on the Moxie challenges too. Hopefully I will start posting mine later today! This week has been crazy with the etsy shop, but SOOO good! I saw that you had a kidney stone? Those are awful! I hope you are feeling much better now! And have a great trip!
Big hugs (cause I never mind a good hug!)

I opened up your blog and said "oh wow." Those colors are just stunning. I've been trying to get going on some Christmas cards, and these colors are now on my list of color palettes to use :)

Congrats on the blog candy, and I'm a touchy-feely person too. SO love you too and big fat cyber hugs right back at ya!

Beautiful card. And congratulations on winning that HUGE amount of blog candy (I had to go take a look at it -- wow!). I'm a bit of a hugger, too. Not a wimpy hugger -- a big squeezer. (Although, I know that scares some people so I try to temper myself somewhat...) One of the best things about my job at the preschool is that I get to give and receive tons of hugs -- in fact, I almost go into withdrawal when summer comes along! Good thing the school year is about to start up again...

Gorgeous card. I love the script of the Joy. And those are great PTI colors.

Congrats on the candy win. How exciting.

And as for you being a huggy person, I love it. Your attitude is infectuous and I love it. Have a great day.

Oh I love this one! Those two colors are so rich together... definitely going to have to try them out one of these days. LOVE the embossed snowflakes as your background (at least I think they're embossed).... You know I love me some clear embossing! :) And I will always readily accept a hug. I'm a hugger too.

Very elegant. I always love non-traditional colors for Christmas cards.

oooooooo - I love these colors together and for Christmas. How striking!! I give you tons of credit for the embossing. I've come to realize that I should not be near embossing powder - I love the look (and feel) of it, but I'm definitely challenged with the stuff. I get it everywhere and always manage to miss a spot (which is noticed after the image has been heat set!)

And wahoo for you & your blog candy! It's sooooo fun to win stuff, especially goodies for creating cards!! Carly has an awesome blog - loved (and envied) her photos of the year round farmer's market...how inspiring (and tempting!!)

PS - Love ya too - you touchy feely gal you!!
