Caardvarks Challenge

I have been seeing several people post cards for a Caardvarks Challenge. I haven't really looked at many new challenge blogs lately since I have been on my button kick! I thought I would go and check it out and I decided that I would love to play along! The challenge is to create a Winter Wonderland project.

I immediately thought of using the same colors that I used in this card for Tina's first challenge. I still think about the picture she posted... so many pretty colors and so sparkly! Not your 'typical' Christmas colors but I think that is why I love them so much!

Anyway... I pulled out some neglected Cornish Heritage Farm stamps... so cute! I love this little snowman! Thought I could give this card to the hubby, once the cold weather arrives, just as a little I Love You! Unfortunately... I don't do those things enough!

Well... that is it from me today! Have a fabulous Friday! Woo Hoo!

Supplies:
Stamps - Background Basics Retro (look Maile.. I did it!) :) ... PTI, Heart Warmers - Kim Hughes Collection (CHF)
Paper - Pink Passion, Only Orange, Tempting Turquoise (SU), Pure Poppy Bitty Dot, White (PTI)
Ink - P. Passion, O. Orange, P. Poppy, Chamomile Tea dye.. all for edges, True Black (PTI), Green Galore (SU)
Other - Snowflake punch, Clear Rhinestones (Kaiser), Copic Marker, Christmas Red Stickles (Ranger)

Cute card Kelley. I do love the fun colors!

On the pot on my card I used my C1 copic to give it a little depth. Now that you know you'll probably notice it on most colored copic cards.

What a cutie pie he is! He looks like an egg! I don't even want to begin thinking about winter yet! Too cold around here that time of year :0) Enjoying the sunshine and warmth while it's here!

Don't you just love Kim Hughes' stamps? So cute! And this is adorable, love it! I know there are so many challenges out there, I haven't checked out Caardvarks in a long time---I keep looking at 365 cards, but haven't done their's either!

this is soooo sweet - I love the non-trad colors...perfect for those dreary winter days :)

I've been seeing the Caardvarks challenges, too! Hopefully life will give me a chance to play along in the next few weeks :)

Hope you have a great weekend! I have friends coming in tomorrow to see my house for the first time, so I need to really *clean*...why can't I just twitch my nose and make it happen!!
