Vintage Moxie Fab

This is my card for the Moxie Fab Vintage and Shabby Chic Challenge. You can see Cath's post about the challenge here.

I can't stress enough how bad I am about styles! I hope this is close! :) I love love love vintage and feel pretty confident about spotting something vintage but when it comes to putting my vintage challenge card up for all to see... I am worried that maybe it isn't vintage! :) I know the image is because the stamp set it is from is called Vintage Christmas! Ha!

I love this image! It is one of my favorite Christmas images that I have!

Switching subjects.... I am getting in panic mode trying to get ready for our trip! I am feeling a little crazy at the moment! I had hoped to have some posts scheduled for the days that I was away but.... looks more and more like that may not happen! I may actually have to go a day without posting... and not just a day... several days. I don't know if I am going to be able to live with myself! :)

I have made several cards but I am submitting, for the 2nd time, to Paper Crafts! That means that probably in a couple of weeks I am going to have too many cards to post! :) Maile, Winter, and Kelly are all going to have cards published in an upcoming issue of Paper Crafts so you girls gave me some hope! I am very happy for all of you and I am sooooo serious about getting that issue mailed to each of you for an autograph! :)

Switching subjects again... You guys must be some good pray-ers! :) I got a phone call this morning from my doctors office telling me that my results were back and that I do not have an infection! This means that 1. I have passed the stone or 2. I still have a stone and am just not being bothered by it at the moment! I was so surprised when I heard that I didn't have an infection. I felt so much better after a few doses of antibiotics and that would only help if it were an infection! Must have just been you guys praying for me that did the trick so again.... Thank You... Thank You... Thank You!

I do have one more request! Carver has not felt well the past two days so if you guys wouldn't mind just saying a prayer for my baby... I would appreciate it!

Hope you all have a fabulous Friday!

You are doing a great job at switching gears. hard for me to do. I'll try what I think is Graphic or vintage and they all end up looking the same ;0) I think this card has lots of old world charm. Don't worry about the blog. We'll all still be here when you get back. Have fun!!

Personally, I think your card is Moxie Fab-ulous! Love the papers, Santa, and that twine is speaking volumes to me! Hope you have a great trip and if you don't get anything set up to post.....well, then it will give me time to get caught back up with you! :>:> Hope your baby feels better soon! :>

Fabby card--I suck at vintage! LOL! SO glad to hear you have no infection, and yes, I will definitely say a prayer for your little guy! Happy Friday!

It definitely looks vintage. The image is so old fashioned. And the pp looks very vintage. So the card has an overall vintage feel and I like it:)

My brilliant plan (yes, I'm tootin my own horn) was to wait to post comments until you were at the beach that way I wouldn't feel Kelley deprived!! It was hard not to when I saw all of your FAB Christmas cards on Google Reader. This is such a great vintage-y card!

Good luck with the PaperCrafts submissions - I saw that they have a huge call for the upcoming Stamp It Cards mag. It would be soooo cool to see my blog buds' names in print....okay....mine too :) I guess though you miss 100% of the opportunities you never try for, so I better start submitting more regularly!

Beautiful card! I love how old world the Santa is. I am so glad you are submitting! Woo! And that there was no infection! Lots of yays!!

I have a question. Are we not supposed to post cards on our blogs that we are submitting? I'm such a rookie!
