Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #12

Last night I made 3 cards... whoo hoo! I won't tell you how late I had to stay up to do it but... maybe I can get in bed a little earlier tonight!

Here is my card creation using Dawn's latest color challenge. The camera didn't pick up the sentiment very well... it is stamped in Raspberry Fizz ink. I had to play around with the coloring of the picture again... that Scarlet Jewel is so dark that it washed out all of the spring moss color of the background paper. Speaking of Scarlet Jewel... has anyone else had trouble using punches or embossing on that paper? I am sure not complaining but man... that is some tough stuff! I don't know what it is about that color but it is a whole lot thicker than the normally thick PTI cardstock!
Hope you are having a great weekend so far!

Supplies:
Stamps - Background Basics Text Style, Birthday Basics (both PTI)
Paper - Vintage Cream, Spring Moss Bitty Box, Scarlet Jewel (all PTI)
Ink - Scarlet Jewel, Raspberry Fizz, Chai Tea Dye (all PTI)
Other - SU Beautiful Butterflies Die, SU Eyelet Border Punch, Raspberry Fizz button (PTI)

See? Friday creative mojo is AWESOME! Love this Kelley. The tone on tone script on the butterflies looks amazing and I love that elegance paired with the grid paper. Another hottie from you :)

Gorgeous card Kelley. I love that scarlet jewel color. I haven't worked with it so I can't help you out on its thickness. Great job.

Hmmm... Haven't tried that with Scarlet Jewel yet... I'll have to experiment. But this card, so pretty! You seriously can't go wrong with the bitty box papers!

Your butterfly is gorgeous! Don't know if I'll play along on this one--no Scarlet Jewel stuff here...maybe I have some ribbon that'll work, but I hate being limited like that.

Nice job with another color challenge! I have the paper colors spread out on my table, along with some ribbons and buttons -- just waiting for inspiration to strike. I don't have any Scarlet Jewel yet, so I'm substituting Stampin' Up colors. I plan to pick up Scarlet Jewel paper and buttons at CHA in a couple of weeks! Yippee!
