You Are My Sunshine!

Ok... so this card is not something that I would normally make. I had some more cute Sassafras stamps that I have been wanting to play with! I know at least one of my blog friends will like this card... you know who you are! :-)

How cute are those cloud stamps? Pretty darn cute!

When I purchased these stamps, I had visions of using them on scrapbook pages for my son, but thought I would give them a try on a card too!

To just add a little something, I used glossy accents on the solid cloud images and on some of the sun's rays. Also, the melon cardstock is textured.

Supplies:
Stamps - Handwritten Notes (PTI), Head in the Clouds (Sassafras)
Paper - White (PTI), Melon (American Crafts)
Ink - Summer Sunrise (PTI), Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise, Baja Breeze (all SU)
Other - Glossy Accents (Ranger), Marvy Circle Punches, SU Dimensionals

I love those clouds Kelley! Super cute. You need to start posting some of Carver's scrapbook pages!

I love this card! You know me and clouds! I love the glossy solid clouds! So cool! Is glossy accents used with embossing, like with a heat tool?

OMG, I love this card, Kelley! I bought this set a while ago and never used it--you've inspired me to pull it out!

Cute card, Kelley. Reminds me that some very similar stamps will be coming to me in the mail before too long in Unity's July Kit of the Month. Now I'll have some inspiration to refer to when they arrive. Thanks for sharing!
Also, great pictures of Carver (both the train trip and the pool). I took the train to Raleigh last summer to see my daughter and there were some grandparents taking their grandson for his first real train ride. There's nothing like the excitement of a preschooler. Everything is new to them!
